WebSaltwater Inc. is currently hiring Fisheries Observers for the Alaska Groundfish Program. Training will start May 8th and will be conducted by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). The training class is a paid 120-hour (3 week) training course held in Seattle, WA, at the NOAA West Coast Regional Center, Alaska Fisheries Science Center. WebMy school recommended me to apply for a fisheries observer position up in Alaska. At first, it sounded great - about $4,000 a month, a life experience, plus training in a field relevant to my degree. I'm not against up ending my life and working long hours.
