Web8 apr. 2024 · Abstract: Objective To validate the Idiopathic Hypersomnia Severity Scale (IIHSS), a self-report measure of hypersomnolence symptoms, consequences, and responsiveness to treatment. Methods The 14-item IHSS (developed and validated by sleep experts with patients9 feedback) was filled in by 218 participants (2.3% missing data). WebPLMS are defined as a periodic sequence of four or more limb movements each lasting 0.5–10 s with 5–90 s from onset to onset of consecutive movements. Most PLMs in a PSG last 1.5–2.5 s and usually recur at 20–40 s intervals. Considerable debate continues as to the clinical significance of PLMS.
